Morningside Kitchen Restaurant in Atlanta
Morningside Kitchen is a new restaurant in the Morningside neighborhood between Midtown Atlanta and Emory University.
Our daily dinner menu features charcoal rotisserie chicken, wood-fire grilled steaks, meats and fish accompanied by delightful sides and seasonal vegetables, small plates to share, and more. Starting May 14th, 2016, we began offering a weekend brunch with reservations, featuring locally-sourced bacon and sausage, cage-free eggs, and roasted espresso.
The talented team from Atlanta Murphy’s Restaurant in Virginia Highland created a unique experience at Morningside Kitchen in the location formerly known as Rosebud. The building was redesigned with a brighter, upscale, comfortable décor, with a bar and lounge sure to become the social meeting place for Morningside residents.
Managing partner Tom Harvey, formerly the Executive Chef at Murphy’s until he left in 2011 to open a restaurant in Arizona, returned to Atlanta to be back in business with mentor Tom Murphy, joining together on this new restaurant with culinary director Ian Winslade, who oversees cuisine at Murphy’s.
In the Morningside Kitchen overseeing the wood-burning grill and charcoal rotisserie is Chef de Cuisine Bhavesh Patel. Beverage Director Dan Givens insures the bar becomes a place to relax with his inventive cocktails, an extraordinary wine list with value prices, and craft beers on tap.
Located at 1397 N. Highland Ave. NE, Atlanta, GA 30306, Morningside Kitchen has the grill fired up, ready to wow you.
